Cooling Service Checklist

• Check air handler filters
• Check for adequate refrigerant charge
• Check for refrigerant leak if system is short
• Check condenser and clean if necessary
• Lubricate condenser fan motor
• Check condenser fan blades for tightness
• Tighten all electrical connections
• Check voltage at unit under full load
• Check condensate drain and condensate lines for blockage
• Check blower belt for condition tension and alignment
• Lubricate all bearings
• Check blower for cleanliness
• Check sight glass moisture indicator if used
• Check all safety controls
• Inspect contactor contacts
• Check and clean thermostat
• Check lock-out-controls if used

Gas Heating Equipment

• Clean burners
• Inspect flue pipes and draft diverter
• Inspect air filters-recommend replacement if necessary
• Check boiler belt wear, tension and alignment
• Check blower and motor lubricate
• Check blower for cleanliness - recommend removal and cleaning if necessary
• Test for gas leaks in furnace
• Test and adjust pressure regulator
• Lubricate all necessary parts
• Check and adjust pilot assembly
• Check hot surface ignitor
• Check ignitor motor
• Check operation of safety controls
• Test for combustion leaks
• Clean interior of vestibule or manifold compartment
• Clean and adjust thermostat
• Adjust burner for efficiency

• Check pressure switch operation
• Inspect wiring on furnace
• Replace thermocouple
