Stainless steel primary heat exchanger – direct fired without the ceramic pre-combustion changer used in most other oil furnaces eliminates the maintenance associated with the ceramic chamber and allows every furnace to be 100% fire-tested at the factory. A ceramic pre-chambered furnace cannot be tested this way at the factory.
Aluminized steel secondary heat exchanger – is tightly welded for added durability.
Ignition controls – reliably start the heating and combustion process for top-quality, reliable performance.
Flue silencer baffle – helps reduce combustion noise at the source.

Warranty- The Carrier Comfort 80 furnace is protected by a limited lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger and a five-year limited warranty on parts. Extended warranties are also available. Ask your Carrier dealer for details.
